Lin Beifong, Tenzin, and Pema from the Legend of Korra (for those non-avatards)

Love love how this came out. Started it out as a practice for the style of painting I use at work. SOOOOOO many hours in this. . . . I've forgotten how many. I did have it in color but I felt it lost the emotion. Probably one of my favorite aspects of season 1 was the dynamics between these 3.

Ya one thing that people don't realize sometimes is that tenzin and lin wouldn't have worked because as you saw from how she was with his kids she never wanted children. While tenzin being an airbender NEEDED to have kids to keep airbending alive. sooooo ya. But ya this is still sad because Lin is pretty cool and you really start to like her by the end of korra's first season,

Pema's cool too she can take control when she wants. XD
